Roy Hunter

started practicing hypnotherapy in 1983, and started teaching professional hypnotherapy at Tacoma Community College in Tacoma, Washington, in 1987.

Roy Hunter has written several books on hypnosis and he is a regular contributor to various hypnosis journals. Roy is a Fellow of the Association of Professional Hypnosis and Psychotherapy (APHP), and a Life Fellow of the IMDHA. His experience also includes working with terminal cancer patients for the Fanciscan Hospice in Tacoma for over six years.

Roy Hunter, Ph.D., Cht studied hypnotherpy with the late Charles Tebbetts, the pioneer of Parts Therapy, and has carried on his work.

Roy's hypnosis books are used at numerous hypnosis schools around the world. His book on Parts Therapy, Hypnosis for Inner Conflict Resolution: Introducing Parts Therapy, was published by Crown House Publishing in the spring of 2005.

His book The Art of Hynotic Regression Therapy - A Clinical Guide (co-authored with Bruce N. Eimer, PhD, ABPP) , was published in 2012 and has received exceptional reviews form professional hypnotherapists and the medical profession alike.
